CDT and artdisk2. It resides it a different location and I needed to establish a desktop icon to point to it. Just bought this download today. The first thing I wanted to do is use this program to print labels for my Christmas cards. No luck. The help menu shows using "address book" from the menu and, low and behold, there is no "address book" to choose on the left sided menu bar.
If there is a way to import address supposedly there is a "sharing" option to do so I still can't find that. I don't understand how the "User Guide" talks about these things, but they aren't there.
Spent all evening looking to resolve this and even after several Google searches I still don't have answers. Any help would be appreciated. At this point I would say I am unhappy. I use Printshop for calendars. I forgot to take my disk out of my old computer when I bought a new one so I had to repurchase it. It said it was a download which I did. I assumed that everything I needed would download.
I can find out no information whether I will be receiving the disk in the mail or not, if so THEN I will update my review. If not I just spent I finally decided to bite the bullet and get another one The product has a way better return policy as there is none with Amazon.
Also it is cheaper! And you get the disk. I did manage to get my money back from Amazon but I had to speak to higher ups to get it to happen.
I then turned around and bought it through the Broderbund web site. I called and spoke with the company. They were very nice and helpful. Software and graphics are older than dirt.
This is nothing more than Print Shop 6. Software still has a feature that when you want to go online to get the clipart it wants to know how fast your modem is, as in telephone modem.
It's not up to modern standards at all. You would think the basic software would at least include a couple hundred standard templates and graphics, it doesn't, everything has to be grabbed from the web.
